Welcome Dr Shailaja Sekar
We are pleased to welcome Dr Shailaja Sekar to Reynella Medical Centre, Dr Sekar is a final year GP Registrar joining us to complete her training.
Dr Sekar will be starting at Reynella Medical Centre early February.
Dr Sekar completed her degree at Flinders University in 2015. During her hospital years, Dr Sekar has worked in medical, surgical and emergency departments in tertiary hospitals around Adelaide.
Dr Sekar also started specialist training in rehabilitation medicine which focused her interests towards cardiovascular preventative care medicine and the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Outside of medicine, Shailaja enjoys time with her partner and her dog, hiking, tennis, and baking.
