GPEx Accredited Training Practice
Reynella Medical Centre is an accredited teaching practice with GPEx for GP Registrars, helping train the next generation of GPs for our community.
A GP Registrar is a doctor enrolled in the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program, a GP Registrar is a fully qualified medical doctor, undertaking advanced training to specialise in General Practice.
The AGPT Program is the main pathway that graduate doctors undertake to become specialist General Practitioners in Australia.
GP Registrars are highly skilled and experienced doctors who are supported by a team of experienced supervisors and medical educators. GP Registrars form a vital part of the medical team at Reynella Medical Centre, many of our GP Registrars have chosen to continue working at Reynella Medical Centre after they have obtained their specialist fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
